For fifteen years, Simona Nesi and the Be Be Lux studio she founded guided devotees – and aspiring followers – of the Pilates discipline in Forte dei Marmi. Now, the purveyors of excellence at this true temple of wellbeing, unique in Versilia, are Sarah and Elisa – in that order Simona’s sister and daughter – who have inherited Simona’s rigorous approach and management style. The expanses of glass that replace the walls allow natural light in, to illuminate the rooms, and offer clients looking out a magnificent view of the surrounding green. The neutral tones of the furnishings, perfect for relaxing the eyes, the ample spaces allowing for correct distancing, and the protocols for sanitizing the spaces and equipment – in force since the studio first opened – guarantee safety and serenity at all the sessions. The studio’s dozen certified teachers are all expert in the most advanced Pilates postural techniques and postural gymnastics. The attention to students’ wellbeing is total: the course offer comprises 1:1 sessions and small-group lessons for a maximum of 5 participants – or structured to meet any specific request – and 7-days-a-week operating hours that cover the entire arc of the day: from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 20:30, and Saturday and Sunday, from 8:30 to 13:30. During the summer months, the studio opens an hour earlier, to begin practicing Pilates at 7:30 a.m.

The most innovative of the studio’s machines (Cadillac for suspensions, Reformer and Chair for dynamic and “acrobatic” movements, suitable even for beginners) and the small equipment (rings, resistance bands, soft balls, fit balls) make it possible to modulate the intensity of any workout and to adapt a Pilates session to the needs of students already in great physical form as well as of others who may suffer from minor medical conditions.
