Borgo Solaio is not just a peaceful scattering of houses in the green hills of Versilia. It is also the name Sabrina Mattei has chosen for her brand. A tribute to Tuscany, the historic villages that animate it, and the artistic craftsmanship still alive, representing a source of pride in a long and precious Italic tradition. Sabrina designs and makes handcrafted bags, selecting premium leathers, silks, and velvets that she weaves. One hallmark that sets her creations apart is the weaving technique; the other is upcycling: whether it is end-of-series from big brands or reclaimed quality fabrics, the key is to create uniqueness.

Her atelier opens by appointment, and Sabrina is glad to welcome visitors, happily collect their wishes, and turn them into new bags. Aided by her creative flair and innate desire to experiment, Sabrina is also devoted to wide-ranging projects such as her recent exciting collaboration with Aquila Energie. The craftsmanship of excellence still exists, and we have indeed found it.
