The year, 1946. A small metal star found by chance on his path was the auspicious sign that convinced Monsieur Christian Dior to take the plunge and create his maison de mode. Today, that lucky star is celebrated in the Rose des Vents collection, now available at the new Dior boutique in Forte dei Marmi. Since 2015, Victoire de Castellane, Creative Director of Dior Joaillerie, has interpreted the collection as an ongoing journey in elegance on the caressing wings of the winds, where semiprecious stones adorn reversible medallions edged with the gold rice-grain rope. To wear showing the eight-pointed star set with a sparkling diamond on one face or the white mother-of-pearl, pink opal, turquoise, onyx, or lapis lazuli set into the other.
