creating the perfect garden

What makes a garden the most beautiful? The one that compliments the place and the landscape, harmonizes with the style of the villa and the owners, enhances the environment, and finds the position that best suits each tree or plant’s characteristics and requirements. Creating gardens where beauty and harmony become increasingly noticeable as the years go by is the challenge of Emiliano Bibolotti, owner of Bibolotti Garden, one of Versilia’s most vibrant firms in green space design. “Every garden is different, and every home has its own needs,” illustrates Emiliano. “And then you have to consider the client’s desires, whether to install a tropical corner on the beach or upgrade an antique villa in the countryside.”
Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands are among Emiliano Bibolotti’s travels to find rare and unusual flora. Each country is a treasure trove of discoveries, of plants that are unobtainable by us and that can adapt well to our climate.
Among the most significant and attractive projects completed in recent months is the luxuriant green area of the new Canniccia Motor Club, commissioned by Attilio Bindi to redevelop the thirty-three thousand square meters of the long-neglected former La Canniccia nightclub at the “Versilia” highway exit. “As an enlightened entrepreneur and truly in love with Versilia, Bindi wanted to bring to life a gorgeous oasis of greenery and beauty, which we accomplished by planting as many as three hundred trees of all varieties (cypresses, holm oaks, cork oaks, lindens, carob trees, hornbeams, etc...), three monumental multi-century-old olive trees that were in our nursery and two thousand five hundred flowering bushes. A spectacular tropical corner with palms of different types and a pond were also created,” outlines Emiliano.
The maintenance of the greenery represents a significant part of Bibolotti Garden’s activity. “We like to accompany the completed gardens over time: each plant is a work of art, a unique piece made by nature, and deserves attention and care.”
