The realm of clogs of Forte dei Marmi was established in 1980 by Giovanni Lenzoni, the town’s historic master craftsman, who has lived a life with “feet at his heart”. The tradition of the seaside clog is carried on today by artisan Massimo, who has taken over the business with his wife Laura, busily calling the shots behind the scenes. Ready-made clogs or sandals do not exist here. Everything is made to measure. It may be arduous to have a clear idea of your choice from the start, as the selection encompasses about thirty models, five heights, different woods and nearly a thousand uppers of all shapes and colors, but this variety is key to a complete customization.
