The Monaco Yacht Show 2024 promises a deliciously tasty lead-up evening filled with the diverse flavors, fragrances and excitement of the Yacht Dinner Night, a culinary competition hosted by Towant and Ceragioli-Storåkers Associates. This event has become a staple for a few seasons now before the Monegasque trade exhibition for luxury yachts. Set in the sophisticated Amici Miei restaurant along Fontvieille’s harbor quay, this year’s event showcased representatives from four prominent international shipyards, all serving their dishes to a jury made up of architects, designers, and journalists. It was a warm evening dedicated to fostering connections and uniquely expressing – through the dishes – each shipyard’s philosophy, style, heritage, and the passion that fuels yacht and superyacht builders to embrace new challenges with increasing enthusiasm.

A starter, first course, main course, and dessert were complemented by the superb champagnes of Comte de Monte-Carlo, along with fine white and red wines. Every dish was exquisite and well-received, particularly the standout: the “ICONic MonChou” dessert crafted by Rebecca Budel and Marek Hasenkopf for Icon Yachts. Other competing dishes included “Maccheroni alla Rossini” prepared by Alexandra Wiliams and Chiara Vetrari for Cantiere Rossini (which earned a special award from ForteMagazine and Boat International, who sent their journalists to the event); “SYBAss alla ligure” by Lorenzo Pollicardo and Robert Van Tol representing the Superyacht Builders Association and Water Revolution Foundation; and “Marine Voyage – Baltic Fusion,” showcased by Chulhun Park and Anna Diana Bzhishkyan from Latitudes Yachts.

Design partners for this Monegasque culinary rendezvous were Dornbracht, Jotun Italia, NC Marmi, Signature Kitchen Suite, and VideoWorks.
